ZMO publishes a refereed series entitled Studien (Studies), which
consists of monographs submitted by internal and external researchers,
as well as conference volumes. The series is published by Klaus Schwarz Verlag. In addition,
fellows publish articles and monographs in the relevant international
journals and series. The online series ZMO Programmatic Texts and ZMO Working Papers publish conceptual articles and discussions within ZMO research projects. Furthermore ZMO publishes the Orient Bulletin biyearly and an annual yearbook.
The smaller Arbeitshefte (Working Papers) series (1993-2003) contained contributions to major academic debates.
