I am a third year Geography PhD candidate at UCL exploring the legacies of colonial botany and contemporary border regimes on urban seed systems in London. Alongside this I am editor of The Preserve Journal, an independent print magazine dedicated to building more just and resilient food systems. I am also part of the collective behind the London Freedom Seed Bank, a grassroots seed network stewarding 200+ London-grown plant varieties, and the Garden of Earthly Delights, a community garden and guerrilla gardening collective supporting ‘meanwhile’ gardens on un(der)used urban land.
