Said Djadoun is a Germanist and university lecturer for German language and culture at the University of Algiers 2. Since 2013, he has taught courses there including the cultural studies of German-speaking countries and language practice.
From February 2021 to September 2023, he served as the Head of the German Section at the University of Algiers 2 and was also responsible for the Master's program "German Language and Culture".
He completed his studies in German Philology at the University of Algiers 2, where he focused intensively on German cultural studies (Landeskunde) during his Magister degree. Currently, he is a doctoral candidate in German Studies, specializing in German cultural studies.
His research and guest academic stays in recent years have taken him to the Leibniz Institute for the German Language (IDS) in Mannheim and the Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History (ZZF) in Potsdam, among others.
