Abstract
Invisibility Chronicles, Part One is an art installation by Michael Baers, exhibited at the Berlin gallery After the Butcher, in October 2021. Baers's installation concentrates on the impending disaster of an oil spillage, housed in the tanker FSO Safer, moored off the coast of Yemen. This essay discusses the temporality of Baers's critical view of disaster, concerning the chronic circumstances of its eventuality.
