Mariam Aboughazi is a PhD candidate at the BGSMCS, FU Berlin, and an affiliated member of the Age and Generation research unit. Her research investigates how living through an intense moment of hope, influences one’s dreams and imaginations of the future within a moment of defeat? Where do imaginations of hope, future, possibility and political mobilization stand within today’s peak of counterrevolution? As well as, the ways revolutionaries seek recovery and well being; and how is home created and imagined in and outside of Egypt?
